Runs the log yard, green mill, kilns and dry mill at Heyfield to turn graded logs into stress-graded structural timber and appearance product, on two shifts, with a focus on recovery, grade accuracy and safe machine operation.

- Receive, grade, segregate and tally logs in the log yard
- Operate the log breakdown, re-saw and optimiser lines
- Build stacks and run kiln drying schedules
- Dress, grade and pack dry timber for despatch
- Conduct operator level maintenance and pre-start checks

Tomasz runs both shifts at the Heyfield mill, owns the recovery and grade targets and has been with the business for twelve years.
Elise Vandenberg
Elise schedules kiln charges, monitors drying and heat plant performance and coordinates the dry mill, and has been at Heyfield for six years.

Log Yard and Stock Register
Tracks every log batch, kiln charge and sawn pack from receipt to despatch, with grade, volume, bay location and certification status.
Safety and Environment Register
Records injuries, near misses, hazards, environmental events and toolbox talks across all sites, with investigation status and corrective actions.
Saw Shop Work Orders
Work orders for blade changes, sharpening, tipping, tensioning, machine alignment and external customer jobs, with blade identifiers and gauge readings.
